The next item that goes into my daily SuperBowl is walnuts. Walnuts are one of the healthiest foods you can put in your body, and it's a great idea to eat them multiple times per week. Walnuts have been proven to extend life. People that eat walnuts regularly, live longer than those that don't from all causes combined.
It's believed that a big part of the reason for walnuts extending life is their ability to improve artery function, lower LDL cholesterol, and lower high blood pressure. Your cardiovascular system will improve when walnuts are added to your diet.
I have known for a long time that walnuts are really healthy, but I have never liked the taste and texture of them very much. I prefer the taste and texture of almonds, cashews, Brazil nuts, and pistachios. The reason I add walnuts to my SuperBowl is that I can hide them in the oatmeal and get their benefits without eating them alone. Since I have been doing this, I do like walnuts more than I used to, but I still prefer all of those other nuts over walnuts.
In the video below, some research studies are examined that prove the fact that walnuts are a worthy item to add to your diet if you aren't already eating them regularly.
